Today we helped at a local Soup Kitchen and then a Thrift store.

This morning we came to First Presbyterian Church of Visalia. (I'm writing this post fast because I need to get ready for the concert)
After devotions we formed two groups and headed to our different locations, one group went to serve, clean, and work at a local soup kitchen, while the other went to clean and organize a new thrift store in town.
This afternoon we are back at the church for a dinner prepared for us by the lovely women of the Church.
and after that we have a concert at 7:00 that will hopefully make a big impact, we invited a lot of people from the soup kitchen crew to come and hopefully some of the thrift store employees can make it as well :D

After a long successful journey we have arrived in Visalia, California. :D

After a smooth plane ride, the Choir got off the plane only to discover that the bus happened to fit one less person than they had. 47 to 48 (40 in the Choir and 8 Chaperones) Besides the seating issue, the men outside loading the bus soon discovered that there was no possible way to fit all the luggage in the storage area underneath. The combined brilliance of the Bus Driver (Reggie) and the chaperones came up with a brilliant plan to stuff everything and everyone extra into the bus and head towards the Fisherman's Wharf. Once there the choir headed out in search of lunch and sightseeing, meanwhile the Bus Driver (Still Reggie) took our bus and headed back to the garage, to grab a bigger bus and move all the luggage to the new bus. (Thank You Reggie) After a wonderful lunch and some brilliant sightseeing, which included sea lions, the Bay Bridge, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Alcatraz, Reggie picked us up and we headed toward the beautiful town of Visalia. We arrived at around 8:30, and quickly went to our Host's Homes for a goodnights rest.
